New Toy

My knees have been giving me trouble after the marathon, and I am sick and tired of sitting on the couch getting fat as I refuse to be a gerbil on the bicycle in the gym...so I bought a road bike. And yes I am joining the spandex club...

2007 Specialized Tarmac SL (S-works). A friend of mine gave me a screaming deal on what essentially is a $6K bike. Road it to work, it works...as in it got my fat butt to work faster than it does to drive my truck in heavy traffic!

Another Once in a Lifetime Opportunity Every Weekend

Invited up to ride a friend of a friends track up in Lompoc, CA. Interesting thing about this track is that the guy keeps it completely maintained like its a pristine garden. Just imagine riding around on a track with beautiful plants and shrubbery everywhere! Not to mention the shade the trees provide, and a complete watering system at a flip of a switch! Dr. Huss is his name, and he is a great guy

The hills are green right now after all the storms we had in SoCal the last few months.

Sammy on his KTM

Here is a local dog, named Honda!

Getting ready for the first ride.

Cooling off after the first couple motos. It was hot Saturday, 85 degrees or so.

Here is the uphill table-top. Looks bigger than it is!

Chris doing showing us the proper line during the morning track walk.

Like well maintained garden motocross tracks?

Here is the infield section, it was a tricky three jump rythym that required a lot of air and speed, and most importantly, finess....

If you blog, you must sign up for this. Why? Because if you blog that means that your friends and family probably do, and this way you can view all their post updates in one easy to read interface. In other words, you now do NOT have to check 30 blogs everyday to see if your friends updated their sites. Instead, you just go to one site and bam!
